Just a bit of shelf rub to edges. Great illustrations. Boards are straight, tips are pointed, spine is square and pages are otherwise clean. It is generally accepted today that what may be termed "Classical" African art is a great art, worthy of a place among the other great arts of the world; yet it is not easy to study it, for neither actual material nor comprehensive books on the subject are easily accessible to the student.
