362 pages; Very Good/No Jacket. Ex-Library. Stamps, bookplate, date due slip, spine label. Solid binding and hinges. Attractive black cloth on bright orange boards with black & orange lettering. Covers of the Saturday Evening Post to endpapers. Corner tips are rubbed to board - very small spot. Sunned to top edges. Soft bump to three corner tips. Boards are straight, tips are pointed, spine is square, and pages are otherwise clean. At this point, if someone will kindly get the sqawk out of the public address system and if the Major will take the folding-chair of honor, we will have a ribbon-snipping or cornerstone laying or something of the ceremonious sort. But not, please, the usual introduction. If this book fulfills its simple intentions, an introduction is superfluous and superfluous in a distinctive way. Beginning of Intro by the author.
