Small tiny scratch to front bottom corner. Corner tips softly bumped. Outside page edges age tanned. Boards are straight, tips are pointed, spine is square and pages are clean. Mr. Winston Churchill's speeches during 1938 through 1939. Also there are 1940 speeches which are very moving as to the status of the War on all fronts. The Introduction of Randolph Churchill, who first started compiling these Speeches in Arms and the Covenant, a collection of speeches by Mr. Winston Churchill on National Defence and Foreign Policy from 1932 to 1938, is continued because of requests for an update. He therefore collected all the speeches from May, 1938, down to the present day, November 9th, 1940 in this book, originally published in 1941.
