139 pages; Near Fine condition. Just a bit of age tan to cover edges. Trade Paperback size. Signed on front cover: Compliments of Earl Boyd Pierce. This is a brief filed in the US courts of Claims. It appears to lay the groundwork to show how the treaty came about and that it was signed under duress. The brief does relate the history of events of the Cherokee people before, during and after the Civil War. The brief also relates what the Cherokee Nation did during the war - serving with the Confederacy and with The North and what happened to them afterwards. Fascinating history.
