In the early years, 1889, The Austin brothers came to Dallas as agents for George E. King Bridge Company of Des Moines, Iowa In 1898, the agency name was called Austin Brothers, Southern Agents for Heorge E. King Bridge Company. In a few years the brothers decided to devide the Texas and Georgia profits, and formed a partnership, and in 1902, adopted the name Austin Brothers, Contractors. Illustrated with pictures of the many bridges, the engineers, the workers.
