240 pages; Very Good Plus/No Jacket. Beautifull gray and aqua boards with bright gilt lettering and illustration to back and front boards. Green endpapers. Gilt to top page edges. Light shelf rub to top spine tip and corner tips. Looks like shadows of price sticker to top front board. Boards are straight, tips are pointed, spine is square and pages are clean. Each chapter has decorations by George Suyeoka. A poem celebrating the mystery of the salt waters of the world in the life of man, and the challenge of the seventy-one percent of the surface of the earth to the sovereignty of any flag at any time since Adam and his sons abserved the law of dispacement.
