118 pages; Near Fine/Very Good Plus. Outside page edges very lightly age tanned. Bright green boards with bright gilt lettering and illustration. Great illustrated end papers - with scenes of fashions of the 1890's. Solid binding and hinges. Boards are straight, tips are pointed, spine is square and pages are clean. DJ has lightly sunned spine. A tiny closed tear at top cover, and bottom back corner tip. Tiny chips at top spine tip and front corner tips. Now in protective sleeve. An excellent gift! Miss Worsley-Gough is able, in a final chapter, to mirror the reflections of all this (fashions from the accession of Queen Victoria to 1939) in a chronicle of the vicissitudes of her own family through four generations. Illustrated with photos and drawings.
