369 pages; Very Good/No Jacket. Black boards with gilt lettering and illustration. Spine lightly faded, but still readable. Great mapped end papers. Tiny name to first page. Outside page edges are age tanned. Tiny bit of shelf rub at edges. Boards are straight, tips are pointed, spine is square and pages are clean. After an absence of twenty-six years, Marco Polo and his father, Nicolo and his uncle Maffeo returned from the spectacular court of Kublai Khan to their old home in Venice. They had long been thought dead, and the distant relatives who occupied the house refused admittance. Then the adventure starts.
