280 pages; Very Good Plus/No Jacket. Assumed First American Edition - No copyright date - No printing noted. Red boards with gilt lettering. Spine is sunned. Tiny bit of shelf rub to back board, spine tips and corner tips. Outside page edges are lightly age tanned. Tiny name to inside front board. Boards are straight, tips are pointed, spine is square and pages are clean. The Latin Quarter has evolved from the Latin Country, remaining always the brain of classicism, of the humanities. The same may be said of Old Paris and of Butte Montmartre which Modernism has transformed.
